This superfood sushi roll, featuring Wild Groats, is the healthier and more colorful take on the classic veggie roll. Instead of using sushi rice – often infused with sugar during cooking – this recipe embraces the nutrient-rich buckwheat groats. Moreover, many traditional sushi rolls employ white short-grain rice, notorious for spiking blood sugar levels. No thank you!

So we created this healthier, grain-free, and low glycemic alternative using Wild Groats with a boost of blue spirulina (blue-green algae), which, like buckwheat, is a complete protein. Beyond making this dish aesthetically stunning, blue spirulina brings its own superfood benefits as outlined below:
